Rae, au pair - KY16 Leuchars

I am 23 years old and have 6 years of childcare experience. I am fun, passionate, empathetic, enthusiastic and reliable. I am a well presented person who takes pride in my appearance, I am hard working and value the importance of working and interacting with others and especially the development of children. I enjoy being both outdoors and indoors.

I have 6 years experience of working within a nursery setting for children aged 10 weeks - 14 years. I also regularly babysit and am fully qualified with a HNC 'Early Education and Childcare' and I am just coming towards the end of my studies for my Level 4 - 'Social Services Children and Young People'. I am fully first aid trained and have undertaken a range of other training, such as, behaviour management and children's emotional literacy.

I have a sound understanding of both the 'Pre-birth to Three' and the 'Curriculum for Excellence' alongside a range of other government initiatives and guidelines. I understand and have great experiences in working with individual children to continue their own personal development through a range of activities.

I love working with children and enjoy and have lots of idea for fun and age appropriate activities. I understand the need and importance of children learning through their own play and I would be excited to help a family with their children.
