Zen, au pair in Leytonstone

My name is Zen, I became a young mum at 19 years old and have raised my daughter Alecia who is now 8 years old.

I am a kind, positive, energised and creative soul. Who brings those qualities to my parenting. I love kids, because I too am a young kid at heart and love their simplicity in enjoying the present.

Usually when I’m in the playground with my daughter I’m the most involved parent, playing with the children and very quickly all the children in the park want to play with us and all the parents are happy watching us play.

I think my performing arts background also helps me in entertaining my own child as well as other children. I speak clearly, giving easy followable instructions when playing games or doing arts and crafts.

I love learning new things and exploring the world and want to in-still these qualities into the kids I help raise, as I think especially in this day and age a sense of exploration is key as young ones grow up into adults.
