Claire, au pair in Londonderry

Hello,
My name is Claire and as mentioned above I have over 5 years experience with qualifications and training within first aid, child protection, management and diversity.
I absolutely love working with children, i believe it to be a vocation!
I have experience of working in a private nursery, schools and private babysitting, this has an age range of months- 12 years, including children with Special Needs.
My education consists of a Level 5 in Advanced Practice in working with Children & Families. As well as a BA (Hons) Children and Early Childhood. I am hoping to continue on to become a Primary Teacher therefore I have applied for my PGCE which, if accepted, will start in September 2016.
I hope this does not render your thinking as I i am a committed and hardworking girl.
With my knowledge, I can give children activities that are age appropriate as well as developmental appropriate, this can increase their own growth and I can offer an Observational book, which lists what the child has done and achieved, and reviewed by the parents.
I am aware of positive role modeling and creating a safe, fun and non-judgmental environment therefore this can encourage a happy and loving place.
Lastly, I am a non-smoker, love pets, and have a driving license. However i do not have a car at the moment and hope this does not change your thinking of me as i am active, enjoy walking and can have access to transport for school picks ups or other activities.
