Hello!
My name is Stefani, I'm about to turn 19 in a month.
I've graduated secondary education in the top 5 highest grades with an A in English, Italian and Russian and B in maths; also an A in psychology and philosophy.
I am chasing a career in Health and Social care and wish to become a Family Support Worker, i.e. consult with families with special needs to resolve their problems such as alcoholism, financial issues, neglect, terminal illnesses in the family and so on. I wish to work with children and their parents to ensure that every child lives the childhood they deserve, stress-free for both the children and the parents.
Currently I am a Support Worker with 7 months experience working with people of any age suffering from terminal illnesses, brain and spine injuries, learning disabilities, mental health issues and other.
However, I have some free time and wish to gain more experience working with children and bringing smiles to their faces.
My previous experience working with children is home-based. Both my parents were away for the majority of the time so I had to take care of my little brother. I taught him how to walk, speak, read and write. When he was 7 years old and I was 11, our parents divorced and mum left for France to be a nurse, and I had to raise him completely on my own. I took care of him for 7 years, doing the home chores, cooking for him, taking him to school and picking him up when I finish school, I had a part-time job on the side to help supporting us. It was a bit difficult for me the first year, but then it became a lifestyle and I was happy with it.
Thanks to that experience, now that I am 19 I have over 8 years in the kitchen and believe me, you'd be surprised that I'm not hiding Gordon Ramsey in the kitchen to cook instead of me.
Even though English is not my mother tongue, I am very fluent. I've lived in England for a while now, I have a family here. I also speak Russian, Bulgarian, Italian and Spanish.
As I mentioned, I graduated with the highest grades in the class so you don't have to worry about your children's homework- I will be there to help!
So, that's about me. I hope I'd hear from you soon, we could have a brew so you can get to know me better and see that you can trust me with your angels!
Occasional babysitting | $9.00 per hour |
Partial / after-school care | $10.00 per hour |
Home nanny | $12.00 per hour |
I'd prefer committing to less families for longer hours so I can get to know the children better and focus on providing the best care for them. Therefore I am requesting £10 p/h in order to attract families that are ready to commit to me just like I am ready to commit to them.
I can agree to an initial charge of £7 p/h so you can observe my service and decide whether you want to hire me again. The next assignment will be the regular price.
