My name is Nora, I am 23 years old and live in Manchester. I currently live with my mum and older brother. I have Two older sisters also and try to spend as much time with my family as possible as I believe family are very important.

I am currently studying Level 2 children and young people workforce and will be fully qualified by April. I then plan to progress on to my level 3 childcare and will be level 3 qualified by December.

Whilst studying for my level 2 childcare qualification I also do placements in different nursery's, and I am currently doing a placement with big life nurseries. I work with ages from 0-5 years and throughly enjoy every minute of it.

I interact with the babies 0-3 by encouraging them to come out their shell and play by offering interesting objects for them to look at and observe, placing the baby so he/she can kick or hit at a mobile or rattle, making everyday routines playful and sharing books together with the children by either reading them or letting he/she gaze at the pictures.

My qualities as a childcarer means I have a good imagination and can be PLAYFUL by creating games, activities and crafts. I'm ACTIVE and can keep up with the children and I always come prepared for how the day/night is going top unfold. I'm RESPONSIBLE, TRUSTWORTHY and can be depended on in all sitautions. I am capable of responsibly caring for children from 0-5 years.

I am patient, authoritative and tenacious. I have worked in many different nurseries prior to working with big life nurseries, I worked in a local one with ages again from 0-5 we did a range of activities like putting paint on a tray and letting the children get messy making paint hand prints on paper, also the remembering game grab a few objects/toys in a box, cover it and see if any child can remember an item in the box. We did an indoor treasure hunt game, we sang and encouraged the quiet children too sing or interact by talking about their favourite toy and offered rewards like stickers as praise.
