Hi,
I am a 17 year old girl who works full time 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. I have a very happy personality and find I get on really well with children. I help out taking care of my 5 year old cousin on a weekend and he has behavioural problems so I am not averse to this sort of situation. I have achieved quite a bit so far and do enjoy my job, however I could be looking into childcare full time. The full time childcare would depend on how well me and the child get along. I am perfectly happy to look after children after 5:30pm during the week up until such a time that there is no public transport home. However if the family could provide sufficient transport then I would be willing to decrease the price per hour. I would also be happy to start as a live-in nanny and help children with homework and daily chores etc. I do believe I would make a fun babysitter and if the family wished I would set about getting a formal qualification.
Occasional babysitting | $7.50 per hour |
Partial / after-school care | $7.00 per hour |
These prices may seem unreasonable, however since I do not yet have my driving licence I have to pay full price on public transport. I am taking driving lessons a the moment though so when I pass my test I would reconsider these prices.
