I love helping families achieve a functional work/life balance. I am proficient in the Montessori philosophy and feel this best represents my personal mantra when it comes to care work. I have experience working with children from 6 weeks of age through school years with my most extensive experience with children between the ages of 18 moths to 5 years old. I pride myself on my patients, laid back attitude and ability to allow freedom within limits. I love going being outdoors, leading an active lifestyle and eating a holistic diet. Music and reading are important parts of my day when I am with young ones as well as in my own personal time. I have my favourite homemade play dough recipe memorized and am happy to facilitate craft making and sensory activities at the drop of a hat! I have experience working with children with a variety of different developmental needs, spending a summer working exclusively with an early childhood intervention program.
If it sounds like your family and I would be a good match I hope to hear from you soon!
