Jessica, au pair in Newcastle upon tyne

Hello,
My name is Jessica . I am 21 and have always wanted to work with children.
I have grown up with a love for performing and attended performing arts schools and I have a degree in Performance. Through my attending performing arts schools I worked with a lot of the younger children and was subsequently asked to help, around show time predominately. I immersed myself in games and had to keep the students stimulated as well as maintaining authority.
I did some work experience at Gosforth Nursery for a short time, in that time I built relationships with the children [aged 2-4] and their families, which I find just as important and was given a very positive write up from the nursery when I returned to school.
I am first aid trained.
I also have seven cousins between the age of 2 and 9 [4 boys and 3 girls] who I frequently spend time with and babysit, which I have done since they were born, so not only am I comfortable with children, I experienced an understanding of them, their interests and their needs.
I am currently looking into studying child care and possibly child psychology part time at college. I would take any work seriously and approach it with a genuine passion for childcare.
