Billie, au pair - NN16 Kettering

My name is billie and I am currently a student in nursing in my second year. The Area of nursing I am studying is children's nursing alongside mental health. I want to be able to grow in experience and gain opportunities that will allow me to develop my skills for the future.
i would say that i am a fun and outgoing person who is creative and constantly trying to learn and grow.
I have had multiple experiences with family members' children in taking care of and looking after them, making sure that all their needs are met as well as being able to keep them entertained and occupied. I have also had work experience in a preschool and youth centre,
I assisted on a school trip to the railway, I was responsible for two children. I was able to both supervise and interact with them, further developing my interpersonal skills. It was difficult to persuade them to carry on with the tasks because there were a lot of distractions for their age group. During my time at the youth centre, I built on my organisation skill by maintaining an ordered working environment. As well as being able to multi-task and ensure that the children were safe and getting along.
