I am a hardworking, determined student currently completing the level 3 early years education course. Childcare has been my chosen career since I was 5 years old. I have always enjoyed the idea of going abroad to be a nanny however I don't have the opportunity to travel yet so am looking to nanny in the UK for a couple of years.
I am a very enthusiastic and outgoing person who very much enjoys working with children under 5, watching them develop and flourish as they grow.
I have more than 400 hours work experience within the early years and have worked with cerebral palsy and autism. I know exactly what is accepted and expected of me as a practitioner and I am fully aware of all childcare policies, procedures and legislation.
I thrive in a challenging environment and am always looking for things to better myself both as a person and a practitioner.

Emily can provide references from recent employers
I am the manager at the setting where Emily has been a student placement and volunteer. She has recently been employed on our bank staff team. Emily has a very good report with the children and staff team, she initiates ideas to support the children's learning and understands children have different levels of need. She is approachable, friendly and polite. Emily's attendance has not always been reliable but she has been a volunteer, student placement with lots of course work to complete so I think this could have some bearing on the absences. I would recommend Emily because she is young, enthusiastic and willing to learn. She is not afraid to ask for support or offer a constructive, valid opinion. She is a supportive member of the team and works hard.
