Tasha, au pair - PR8 Southport

I am currently seeking a Nanny job. I am a strong minded, determined person who puts my full energy and effort into looking after the children i care for. I can honestly say I keep a positive attitude in everything I do. I have experience working in hospitality, housekeeping, nanny, and a carer for elderly. My work has required me to be a fast learner, have patience and have great customer service. I am a respectful person and will take full responabilty for taking care of the children. I have recently got back from working in the French Alps in the ski resort Meribel as an au pair/ chalet host. I looked after four lovely boys aged 6 months, 3, 6 and 8. When the boys were at school and crèche I would take care of the youngest baby as well as making sure the chalet was clean and tidy with all laundry done and dinner cooked for when they got home. I would take the boys skiing on a weekly basis. I worked long hard hours and enjoyed the fact the boys looked up to me. One of my ways to encourage good behaviour was a star chart where I would put stars on for good behaviour and manners and if the boys gained over ten stars they would win a prize at the end of the week. I also worked on a private yacht, I was employed as nanny for four young children and it was my responsibility incorporate all of the duties associated in a child care role as I was responsible for them from the time they woke up to 9pm. When I wasn’t with the children I was working in the crew mess and it was my duty to make sure it was kept clean and tidy at all times and keeping the boat to the owners high standards. I was responsible for laundry of the children and owners as well as the staff.
