I am confident, outgoing, enjoy working as part of a team as well as on my own. I recently volunteered at B2B Project in Sunderland for my placement which gave me experience of working with children from the age of 0-20 years with a wide range of issues, needs and complex lives giving me a huge range of experience with young people, parents and other agencies. The unit provides support and education to school age mums and mums to be from across the city, my main duties were to look after the babies aged 0-4 years in the crèche whilst the mothers completed their work.
I made sure the nursery was tidy and safe before the children arrived, I planned for next day activities and helped complete personal development plans.
I was an active volunteer for my local community centre from the age of 16 to 21. My main duties were to organise activities for the children on a weekly basis as well as organising day trips out in the school holidays.
I am confident that through my works experience and my genuine commitment, dedication and professionalism that I have the required skills to meet demands of the post successfully.
I currently hold a level 2 qualification in early years and would like to progress in the future as I want a career in childcare.
