I am an enthusiastic, hardworking young woman with a full clean driving licence and my own car. I have experience working with children aged 18 months+ through babysitting, working as a nanny and running my own karate club. Currently looking for babysitting or before/after school work.

I have worked as a nanny and babysitter for several families in the Sunderland area since July 2011. I have worked with children aged 18 months to 13 years old. I enjoy working with children and am looking to expand the hours that I work as a nanny/babysitter.

I run a karate club for children aged 4+. This involves planning karate sessions, interacting with the students and their families, enforcing good behaviour and reasonable discipline and encouraging confidence and self esteem. I have taught karate to children with special needs including autism and cerebral palsy.

I previously worked for two years as a Special Needs Escort taking children with complex special needs to and from school. This involved ensuring the children's safety and comfort in the taxi, liasing with parents and teachers and building a trusting relationship with the children.

I have five years experience working as a youth worker at my local youth club. This involved befriending young people aged 8-19, planning and evaluating activities and providing young people with support for issues such as family breakup, bullying and drug and alcohol abuse.
