Leona, au pair - ST16 Stafford

Hello! My names Leona and i am 17 years old, I am not very good at promoting myself but i'll try! I'm shy at first but once i get to know people i am friendly and caring.
I live with my 2 younger brothers and my mother. My -just turned 9- year old brother has ADHD and also had open heart surgery at the beginning of the year and while my mum would work evenings i would regularly cook dinner and make sure he's in bed settled. I have many family friends who have young children and my 4 cousins who are all under the age of 5.
I took Child Development for my GCSE's and got a B and i also took Health and Social Care which i got a C in.
I also took maths, English, science and art for my GCSE's getting C's in all.
I understand that most parents are looking for someone more qualified and with more experience but i have recently left college (learning Childcare) after realising that i want to experience the work place and not sit at a desk everyday. From the college course that i was on i did placement at Cooper Perry Primary School every Thursday and Friday in classes Reception through to Year 2 which i thoroughly enjoyed very much and made me realise that i want more experience and to meet new people too.
I would love to hear if you know of any apprenticeships or anything that might be suitable i'm trying to explore the world along the way and make great memories!
