Laura, au pair in Stockport

I am currently on the search for a change of role as I take a break, or maybe for a more permanent change from my current career as an Early Years Teacher. I am in my 8th year teaching and trained with an Early Years specialism. I qualified in Manchester in 2010 and was employed as a teacher in the Stockport area for four years, before moving to Asia to continue my career overseas. I am currently finishing a contract at my school here in Hong Kong where I have been teaching since 2014.

Previous experience before teaching includes babysitting, volunteering at local pre school settings, after school clubs, summer schools and I was also employed as a part time children's fitness coach delivering fitness sessions to private nurseries and sure start centres whilst studying my degree in Psychology.

On making the decision to return to the UK to be closer to friends and family, I am looking to transfer and apply my knowledge, skills and experience of Early Childhood care and education to a nanny or au pair pole, working with children aged between 2.5 and 6.

I would like to be considered for any future roles or positions that become available for 2018.
