My name is Mia , I'm 19 years old and I currently live in Manchester. Over the years I've had a wide range of experience with children. My Mother has been a child minder for over 10 years and during those years I've gained some irreplaceable experience with children. I've grown up learning and understanding how and what its like to take care of them. While in high school I gained a health and social care degree, which I passed with a B grade. I then went on to work in a primary school for 6 months in which I worked in the preschool/nursery, which is under 5's. My work there included aiding the teachers in whatever they asked, entertaining the children, setting up snack and seeing they complete their next steps or goals for the week. My employment was terminated there due to too many staff members and not enough children to care for. I then went on to work in a private day nursery in Hemel Hempstead, a London suburb, for a month. My roles included changing nappies, playing and entertaining the children, feeing them and completing their nursery folders. I feel I'm a kind, approachable, fun loving young woman with mountains of experience.
