Bridie, au pair - TS7 Nunthorpe

My name is Bridie. I am a child care practitioner from Nunthorpe with 4 years experience working within various child care settings. I consider myself to be a happy, caring and patient person who is enthusiastic and flexible. I have known since being in primary school that this is the career path that I would like to take. I am very passionate about taking this career path, and have a successful caring and sensitive approach to looking after children. I enjoy carrying out a variety of activities and planning next steps to help children reach their maximum potential. I have been on a variety courses to get more knowledge and experience on different aspects of child care. These including gaining my First Aid certificate, food hygiene, health and safety, and behaviour awareness. I am also currently taking driving lessons and I'm looking forward to the opportunities that this will open up for me.

Through working across several varied settings, I have gained and strengthened my employability skills such as my ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and staff, organisation and punctuality.

I am currently looking for babysitting and nanny jobs. I am available any time during the week days, and weekend evenings.
