Stef, au pair in Whittington

Hi I'm Stef, I'm 25 years old and have been a teaching assistant in early years for 5 years and occasionally cover before and after school care. Previous to this position I was a registered child minder.

I worked with children from the ages 3 months up to 17 years. As a child care provider I feel children should be able to be free to be children and enjoy themselves in a safe environment. With this in mind i feel its important for children to understand and respect the boundaries and rules of respecting adults. By this I mean as a child care provider the children need to understand you are there to look after them and keep them safe and when things become unsafe or their actions may affect others they need to understand what is acceptable behaviour and why sometimes they can't always have their own way.

I enjoy going to the gym, cycling and love being outdoors going for walks etc and have recently taken up outdoor climbing. I enjoy socialising with my friends and family.
