Dear family,
Hello my name is Helen, I am a qualified level three early year’s practitioner. I am currently seeking employment within childcare as I love working with children and love new opportunities.
Personally, I am health-conscious and a non-smoker. I am hardworking, reliable and trustworthy. I have a genuine interest in the well-being of children, I love interacting and playing with them. I do not easily tire or stress out as I am very patient with children of all ages. I have had experience working with children with additional needs and in that time frame I have learnt to be open-minded, understanding and even more patient.
When it comes to child care experience, I have looked after children in both formal and informal contexts. As part of my childcare course in college I went into a nursery twice a week as an early year’s practitioner in training. Furthermore I have done voluntary work in a children’s mental health unit. After college I took up babysitting where I went and worked for a family with three children aged six, eight and twelve.
Alongside this, being the oldest of my siblings, I helped to care for both of my younger sisters. I enjoy taking them out and finding new activities for them to try. Occasionally we are joined by a few of my younger cousins whom I also care for.
When I am not studying or working I do spend most of my time with my youngest sister. We always find something fun and exciting to do whether it be singing, dancing, playing games, role playing, drawing, painting, narrating stories, going to the park or finding a local event.
Thank you for taking time to read this, hope to hear from you soon,
Kind regards
Helen .
