Danielle, au pair in Wigton

I have worked within a school nursery setting for the past three years, working with ages 2-11 years. I work mainly in the 2-year-old provision and I worked 1:1 with an autistic child from the time she turned 2 up until age 4. Working with this child particularly has taught me the importance of adapting the way I work to best benefit the child.
I enjoy doing any thing crafty and baking. I frequently take my own guitar or ukulele into the 2-year old provision to allow the children to experience making their own music as this is something I feel is important and also something they really enjoy.
