2 years caring for my ex-partner suffering from multiple mental health issues. Including phycosis.

Working for family and family friends as a nanny/housekeeper in their home with children aged between newborn and 14yrs, including 2 children on the autism spectrum. A short employment apprenticeship within a private nursery and I have previously cared for the elderly in private establishments, including palliative and end of life care. Most recent post was Head Housekeeper for a 96 bed care home.

A family home I can become a part of for a long time to build a good relationship with both the children and the parent/s. Keeping a well presented home and giving children a good role model for future guidance who is able to not only be a fair disiplinarian but a fun and positive friend/carer they can feel safe with and can rely on.

I can be a little shy to start off with but once relaxed and comfortable, your come to find I'm a very happy enthusiastic and positive person. I have a great deal of patience and able to take anything thrown my way without getting hot headed or frustrated. Able to find and create fun and stimulating activities both inside and outside the home to meet needs of the age group. I enjoy taking care and keeping a clean and well presented home and take pride in it and my work. I encourage the children also with the same respect.

I currently hold a first aid course certificate I completed this year through employment. I will be looking to complete a St Johns paediatrics first aid course by Aug/Sep time and obtaining public liability insurance asap.
