Katie, au pair in Worcester

My name is Katie , I am 19 years old and I love working with children. I would like to be a full time nanny but am a little worried that I may be a little too young so I am hoping to gain further experience working along side the family as a Mother's Help. I have 12 months experience as a nursery nurse apprentice and 10 months full time experience after qualifying to NVQ3 diploma level in Early Years and Children's Care, in which I was a Keyworker responsible for my own group of 6 children.
I enjoy the opportunity to teach the children so that they learn as they play. Rhyming box, activities with music and story time were some of my favourites but I especially enjoyed all the creative activities we did for parents special occasions, e.g. making cards and gifts for Mother's and Father's Day
