Chantelle, au pair - YO1 Heslington

My name is Chantelle and I am 20. I am currently studying Social Policy with Spanish and Russian at the University of York. During term time I am based in York, but during the holidays I am based in London. I am currently in York until December 1st. Then I will be back in London for 5/6 weeks.

I may be young but I have plenty of experience with children. I have done a summer placement in a school and I continue to go back and help for the day when I can four years on. I adore working with children. I spent most of my gap year being a nanny and babysitter. And this summer I work at an English summer camp where I worked with children ages 13 to 17.

I enjoy being around children, they are fun to be with and they always manage to put a smile on my face. I understand that you do not want whoever is in charge of picking up your children to be late as it is irresponsible. I am willing to get there half an hour early just to ensure if there are any travel delays that I will be there in time for the time your children finish school. If there does happen to be any delays, I will take a taxi.

I have tutored children before so I am familiar with the education system now (as it was different from when I did it) and I have previously had music lessons so I could help with that if any issues arise.

If you ever need someone short term as a babysitter, tutor or whatever you need I am available. I also am available for last minute babysitting!
