Megan, baby sitter in Abercarn

Hi, my name is Megan and I’m looking for part time work during the mornings, such as taking children to school and picking them up if they are in nursery. I am also looking for babysitting jobs to do throughout the summer while the school I work in is closed for the summer holidays.

I have lots of experience in Childcare as I have done a Level 3 Childcare course at Crosskeys College, been in placement for a year and have done voluntary work for 4 months before moving on to having a job. For those 16 months in total I was at Cefn Forest Primary School where I have done a variety of activities, games and helped children with their class work. I also provided children with milk and snack for snack time and stayed at lunch times during my voluntary months to help the younger children with their lunches and helped clean up. I did many jobs that a teacher assistant would do as I was there to learn all the varieties of jobs to be done and carry them out daily. I have taught children how to write their numbers, letters sentences etc and much more.

In September 2018 I will be completing my second year of the childcare course as this year was a break for me to start getting some money together ready for university in a few years to come if I am lucky enough to do so.
I have a Level 3 First Aid Certifiacate and a Level 3 Food Safety. I have also got fire safety training from Blackwood Fire and a certificate.
I currently work for a company called Playworks every day after school in an after school club, so can get references from there for you.

Also, I am then free for day time and evening babysitting weekly during school periods and during all school holidays and weekends, I am free the whole time.
