I am a mature adult with extensive experience working within the community after raising my own family. I have looked after babies and young children preschool age in a Day Nursery and have worked in the care environment for over 35 years. I've spent many years doing voluntary work with Barnardo's family and children centre in Bathgate, taking care of children with severe and profound learning difficulties. I have SVQ 11 in Social care and HNC in Social Welfare certificates. I have carried out babysitting duties privately and with Barnardo's within the child / children's own homes. Also worked as a Team Leader within the community centre with children from 4 years to 11 years old ensuring their safety, organised various games and activities ensuring stimulation activities were offered to children. Organised and participated in group trips and taking children on residential holidays.
