My name is Harriet, I am 25 years old and originally from Darlington, England. In September I will be working towards a masters in Environmental Engineering, and am looking for part time work that I enjoy on evenings and weekends.
I have worked in nurseries previously during secondary school looking after children from being babies to up to 4 years old. I would be more qualified with children aged 4+ as I worked in an American summer camp (2015, 2016) for boys and girls aged 4-16. In camp my role was to live amongst the children, make sure the were up and ready for the day, fed, put to bed and just general day to day activities. Throughout the day I worked as a nature specialist, I led hikes and overnight camps, and had a small farm with animals the children could play with. I love all animals as well so any pets will be no problem.
I have a Girlguiding leadership qualification and led Brownie units in both Darlington and Leicester for the 4 years I was at university (2012-2016). I am very used to coming up with activities for the children to be happy and safe.
I also have babysat for friends and relatives all my life, since moving to Northern Ireland 10 months ago I have had less opportunity to do this, and as it is something I enjoy I am trying to get back into it.

I am a fully qualified Girlguiding Leader, a qualification that required me to complete health & safety, fire safety and first aid courses, and I have a level 1 qualification in Safeguarding Children. I have also been employed at a children’s summer camp in the USA for 4 months over the summers of 2015 and 2016. This involves living with, looking after and entertaining children aged 4-16, and have completed 2 weeks of training for this work at the beginning of the summers.
