I am a seventeen year old currently studying A-levels in Psychology, Medical science and English literature and language. Due to this I am looking for part-time job and babysitting will be perfect. This will allow me carry on with education as well as gaining experience and allowing me to save for University. I have in the past played Hockey, netball , basketball and can play the piano and cornet to a basic level.
In my spare time I volunteer in St. John. Ambulance helping the younger sessions (badgers 5-10 year old) complete various activity badges from crafts to healthy eating. By helping with the younger year I think i have gained experience in different activity and games that could be used whilst babysitting to make it fun. Within Stj i have also gained a Basic First Aid qualification which last till 2019. There is also the opportunity for me to have a baby safe course if preferred.
I am willing to do a variety of work form cooking to cleaning no job is to big or small. I am a responsible person who is very reliable and I believe that I can apply my knowledge to the role.
I believe these rates are fair for babysitter of a 17 year old. Looking into the national minimum wage this amount will allow me to have a little bit of savings on the side as well as allowing me to use it for other things. I am willing to negotiate the price if it becomes a problem.
