Kate, baby sitter - CM3 Boreham

Hello! My name is Kate, I'm 19 and live in Boreham, Chelmsford. I am a caring, responsible and enthusiastic person, currently studying Bsc Psychology part-time with the Open University and learning to drive (test booked for march)

I love working and spending time with children and babies, both personally and professionally. I am confident in my abilities to look after them to a great standard, and enjoy establishing and maintaining those important bonds. I want to focus my career on children, so whilst doing something I love and earning a bit of pocket money, I'd also gain more invaluable experience of first-hand childcare.

I love to bake and can play guitar, I speak a bit of french and enjoy being active. I am 100% animal friendly, and I am not afraid to get covered in glue and glitter...

Since 15 I have undertaken babysitting/childcare duties for friends, family, and families that I have met either through advertisement or websites. This has been looking after children age 0-12.

I studied Health and Social Care (GCSE and BTEC level 3 ext), providing me with in-depth knowledge. In addition to this, I have 100 hours of placement under my belt, which I collected from volunteering at a primary school in Chelmsford, with the focus on children age 4-6 (reception class and Year 1).

A close friend of mine has recently had her first child (prem! sept '14), and I have been helping her out a lot, giving me some newborn experience too! Aside from that, I am able to care and relate to children of all ages.

I am happy to provide anything from one-off babysitting services to regular care multiple days a week.
