Ella, baby sitter - CT1 Canterbury

Hi I'm Ella. I'm just about to start at the University of Kent, studying English and French. I'm 19, and spent the last year as an au pair in France, looking after 3 children aged 7, 9 and 12. This involved taking and collecting the children from school, cooking for them every day, helping them with homework and improving their English reading skills, and of course spending lots of time playing with them!
Before I went to France I was a Cub Scout leader for 4 years, and a Beaver Scout leader for 3 years, working with children aged 4 to 11. I have been involved in planning and leading activities at a weekly after school club for 9-11 year olds, and taking the children on an activity weekend away. I have led activities, including craft, sports and baking at kids' clubs over the last 4 summers.
This summer, I spent a month looking after a 2 year old in France, and then a 3 year old in Austria.
I don't have a definite timetable from University yet, but I should be available for school pick up and most evenings.
