Natalie, baby sitter - GL17 Ruardean

I am currently working as an assistant at Hopeswood Nursery, whilst here I have been able to help with the day to day running of the nursery and help when I can with paperwork such as written observations and children's individual development records. I enjoy working with the children and observing how they play and interact with others and gain satisfaction when a child completes their next steps. I have also been able to complete a level 3 award in Paediatric First Aid and complete various beneficial online and in house training. I enjoy working with children to help further their knowledge and understanding and I am currently completing my Bachelor Honours Degree in Early Childhood. It has been beneficial for me to further my learning and I also feel it has helped me to develop an insight into how children's play can affect their learning and how I as the practitioner can find new ways to aid a child's learning. I also enjoy completing various online training courses to further enhance my knowledge and aid how I can help the children and aid their development. I also often babysit in my local area which has been able to help me gain vast experience with children between the ages of 0-11 years, this has also helped me to understand a variety of perspectives towards a child's learning from communicating with parents which has now led me to have a greater understanding of how to plan for a child's individual needs and beliefs.
