Mariam, baby sitter in Halifax HX1

My name is Mariam and I am looking for a part time care to look after children ideally weekends or evenings as I have a full-time job at the Huddersfield Royal Infirmary in the HR department. (Mon-Fri 9-5)

I used to work in a nursery before and have looked after children aged 0-5 years, i have personal experience of looking after children up to 12 years old. I have a younger sister and brother who is 12 and 8 and i had took on the responsibility of picking and dropping them off to school, helping with their homework and other duties round them like tidying up, washing their clothes and making them dinner/snack due to my mother not feeling well majority of the times.

However, I have also looked after my nephews and nieces whilst my brother and sisters have been at work. I always have been told that I am best in looking after children.

I have received 'Thank you' cards from the nursery i used to work and the parents of whose children I have been looking after. Its been a great experience for me and I have loved every aspect of my job.

I hold a NVQ qualification in Childcare Level 2 and have achieved a grade B in GCSE Child Development.

I class myself as being excellent at looking after children, I don't receive help off anyone in regards to what needs doing when. I love giving feedback to parents of how their children have been in the time I have looked after them, it's a great feeling to know that the parents are happy and proud of the child's development.

In regards to activities, I am a very creative individual and love drawing and using my imaginative to think of activities to do with children.

Finally, I would love to work with children aged 3-12 years as I would like to get involved in helping them with their homework and taking them to school, going for walks with them. This job would be great for me overall as I don't intend to do much on the weekends. I want a job that is fun and outgoing!.
