I am a 20 year old physiotherapy student living at home looking for babysitting and child care work. I have siblings and cousins ranging from 4-16 years old and have helped look after them all since they were babies.
On top of this I also work for Barracudas - a children's activity camp in the holidays for the last 2 years. Here I look after children aged 4-16, and lead games and activities sessions with them throughout the day. Keeping in mind that they can get bored quickly so often having to adapt games. I have good communication skills with children of all ages due to both family experience and my holiday work, and this also means that I can relate well with children of all ages. I have also worked with children with learning difficulties and disabilities at Barracudas as well as on placements for my university course.
I am happy to cook for children and have had lots of practice doing this with my siblings.
I also have a full clean driving license, if needed to drive around.

Rebecca can provide references from recent employers
Rebecca joined us this year and worked at our Watford camp in the position of Group Co-ordinator. As a Group Co-ordinator Rebecca was a key member of staff for children in her group as she was responsible for the safety and welfare of those children. Co-ordinators have to be aware of potential Health and Safety issues and be able to explain any hazards to their group. Rebecca was the main point of contact for parents who have any concerns or wish to transfer any information. Co-ordinators lead the different activities and are also responsible for an assistant, which often requires some basic supervisory skills of leadership and motivation. All of which, Rebecca was more than capable of. Rebecca has received a good evaluation from her Camp Manager and was rated excellent in areas such as: team work, reliability and care towards children to name a few. There were many occasions when Rebecca went outside her specific job role as she often took on the responsibility of running the early and late clubs. Rebecca was willing to assist with any jobs that were delegated via management. Rebecca is an extremely positive member of staff, who always works to her best ability, she has a great attitude and her care for the children is exceptional. She is one of the strongest members of the staff team and is very versatile. She always has a smile on her face and is a great team player!
These are simply guidelines and what I have been paid before but I am willing to negotiate this and am flexible.
