My name is Mariya and I am a postgraduate student at the University of Glasgow. I am originally from Bulgaria but came to live in the UK in 2014 when I started my undergraduate degree in Birmingham. I am looking for part-time care, mostly evenings and weekends.
I am applying to be a babysitter/nanny because I love children and caring for them. I have a brother who is 10 years younger than me, so I used to babysit him and still look after him when my parents are not home. I have changed diapers, prepared formula and baby food and played games with him. Nowadays I cook for him and help him with his homework (English, Maths, etc). We have played many games, such as hide-and-seek, football, basketball, puzzle and board games and many others.
Apart from playing games, I think that other activities can also be entertaining for kids. For instance, making pizza or cake, drawing, doing DIY projects are all fun activities which my brother and I have enjoyed.
