I'm Lara, I'm 16 years old and currently studying A Levels at Knutsford Academy sixth form. As I used to work at a restaurant in Mobberley, I can say that I am a trustworthy and responsible person that is more than capable of looking after your children to the best standards. I recently left this job due to needing to study for my AS Level exams, but now that I have completed them I am looking for some more part time work.
I have various experience's in looking after children. Firstly, my mum is a private nanny so I am always around children that ages range from 6 months to 7 years old and always there to help her out when she is working. I have a younger brother aged 5, who I look after on a regular basis and also cousins ages 2 to 6.
I also have had many previous babysitting jobs that I no longer have due to the age of the children not needing a babysitter any more.
I can assure you that your children will have fun with me as I am able to play all sorts of games with them and take part in activities such as baking. I also aspire to be a child nurse in the future, as one of my A Levels I am studying health and social so being around children in my part time work is great experience for me on my applications for universities.
Hope to hear from you! Thanks.
| Occasional babysitting | $5.00 net pay per hour |
As a 16 year old, minimum wage is £4.70 an hour so I think that charging £5.00 an hour is a reasonable amount. I have been babysitting since I was 14 and have always been paid this amount by family friends.
