Hello my name is Jodie. I'm 19 years old, turning 20 in October. I recently moved to the area about 2 months ago. I'm a very bubbly and enthusiastic person also very loving and caring.
I absolutely love children and was always first to offer to babysit family/friends children. I'm looking for a position of a babysitter. Although I am young I possess many skills for the household. I can clean and cook with no problem.
Although I don't have any qualifications in childcare, I did some work experience in a nursery school in Hertfordshire a few years ago. I studied child development for my GCSE's and I'm looking to study midwifery next year. I also have looked after family and friend's children before, ranging from newborns up to teenage years. I am more than happy to look after children of any age.
I'm very passionate about children and believe they deserve the best. If any homework needs doing, I'm more than happy to help out, children should have an education, it's important however for some children it's boring and challenging so I like to make it fun as well as educating by making it into games. I'm fresh out of education (February 2013) and I enjoyed school life. I have 8 GCSE's including child development. I also have my first year of A levels (AS) which included sociology, English literature and language and psychology which had a lot about children (attachments and learning etc). So I can apply those skills while looking after children.
Physical exercise is just as important as exercising the brain. I love playing games wether it's out in the garden, (football, swings, trampolines and so on) or indoors (Lego, toys, board games and so on). I have done all these before and have been pretty successful in the children enjoying them. However if there is any of activities you like your children to partake in, just let me know.
