Eleanor, baby sitter in Oakham

Dear Family,

I recently moved to Oakham in Rutland to start my new job as a Graduate Musician in a boarding school where I teach music, take rehearsals and am a tutor in a girls' boarding house. Before this I lived in Nottingham where I studied my Music degree but I am originally from Hampshire.

I am looking for occasional/weekly babysitting jobs in and around the Rutland area though I have a car so may be willing to drive further depending on the situation.

In Summer 2015, I worked as an au pair just outside Madrid for a family with two girls aged 7 and 10. I was solely responsible for them during the weekdays whilst their parents were at work. My main role was to speak English with them throughout the day and help them with their homework including violin and piano lessons, something I am happy to teach your children if this is something you/they are interested in. I also have experience working with younger children (ages 0-5) as I used to volunteer in a nursery.

I don't mind helping with the housework and doing some cooking- l am used to running my own home and these are things I did as an au pair as well. I also have a good level of Spanish if this could be something that is useful.

My main hobby is music and I have been playing violin since I was 6 years old. This year I organised a for our university orchestra for 60 people so I am very responsible and have great organisational skills.
My other hobbies include horse riding, reading, going to the theatre/concerts, and cooking and baking.

As I currently work in a school with children aged 10-18 I hold a current DBS check.
