Hi there! My name is Natasha, I am a 21 year old Psychology student at the University of Glasgow.
I love working with kids, I have been a babysitter for children age 4-12 since I was 16 years old.
I have volunteered at two different primary schools as a classroom assistant, mainly working with primary 2's with children with learning or language difficulties.
I have also volunteered teaching drama to children aged 8-12 for 2 years.
I have worked as a Camp Counsellor in both America and Scotland which involves being fully responsible for a group of children 24/7, with ages ranging from 5-17. I also lead a range of activities, taught Performing Arts and learned how to deal with a range of behavioural problems. I have an up to date PVG certificate.
I am a kind, caring individual and I am a great listener. I have lots of experience communicating with young people and always try my best to understand how a child is feeling while talking to them. I try to be as fair as possible when dealing with a problem and always ensure I know all sides of the story before potentially disciplining a child.
I am a very clean and tidy person so would be more than happy to help out with household chores or cooking. I am in my third year of University and would happily assist with homework of all levels. I like to find fun, engaging things to do with children, a few of my favourites are board games, imagination games, playing in the park and reading together.
