Lydia, baby sitter in Thornaby-on-tees

My name is Lydia I am currently studying A levels at Middlesbrough college sixth form, I have always enjoyed looking after children like my younger brother and younger cousins. Although I do not have qualifications within this field I worked at a nursery near my home for work experience at the end of year 11. I looked after a variety of ages throughout the week from babies to children around 5 to 6 years old. I am now looking for a part time job to pay for driving lessons and for me to gain experience, I have looked in other areas however I keep coming back to the idea of looking after children. Within my placement I ensured children were safe and happy at all times I believe this is the most important part of childcare, safety is key but happiness is equally as important. Learning through play is also a big part of growing and I hope to use this outside of the nursery with children I look after and one day with the children of my own. I am available evenings and weekends, through the summer I am free most of the time (weekdays and weekends) however in September my college course starts again and my weekdays will be less flexible, feel free to contact me by phone or e-mail.
