Hi I'm Ruby!
I am a recent Chemistry graduate from Newcastle University.
I am a friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic girl and would love to help families out in my spare time.
I enjoy reading, making clothes and hanging out with my friends!
Aside from my Chemistry degree, I have 3 A-levels (ABC) and 12 GCSEs (A*-A), so I am more than happy to help children with any homework queries. I also have an elementary understanding of conversational and written Spanish.
I enjoy looking after children and have done previous work experience in my local primary school, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I also took a variety of dance classes (including classical ballet and tap) for 12 years and have performed a number of shows (I would be more than happy to help with dance exam preparations as well). Through my later years of dancing, I was able to help coach one-to-one with younger students.
I have previosuly worked at Clarks shoe retail store, in which I was part of the children's team. Here, I was able to engage with the young children and the parents to determine the correct shoe size and advise on the best fitting shoes. This role has enabled me to improve communication skills with young children.
I am available throughout the summer holidays and work best with children aged 4 and above.
