Harriet Louise, baby sitter in Williamthorpe

My name is Harriet and I am currently on my Gap Year before starting University in September to study French and Spanish. I have just returned from spending six months living and studying in Montpellier in the South of France and am back in the UK for two and a half months before starting my summer travels around Europe before Uni.

I am currently looking to Babysit for children aged 5 and upwards.

I myself have a little sister aged 9 and two younger cousins aged 12 and 7, therefore I have had experience with childcare including mealtimes, playing games indoors and outdoors and bedtimes.

Furthermore, whilst working at the prestigious infant and junior boarding school, Windlesham House School, in West Sussex for a total of three weeks, I helped facilitate the creative, fun and physical activities for the children. Overall the experience was extremely rewarding but at times challenging, requiring patience, occasional assertive behaviour and reasoning. In addition, by organising mealtimes I developed good listening and communication skills and whilst on dormitory duties, for the boarding pupils, I gained a clear understanding for the care and welfare required.

Finally, during my last year at 6th form at Sheffield High School I taught weekly French and Spanish lunch-time classes for Year 3 (aged 7-8) further enhancing my communication skills with younger children.
