Beth, baby sitter - IP1 Ipswich

I am a 16 year old student, hoping to study A-levels at Suffolk One this coming September. I dont have any official qualifications for child care however I am part of a big close family which consists of 18 cousins in which i regularly look after. I am a friendly, outgoing person and always get along well with children. I am a trustworthy person and would follow any rules and/or instructions in which I am told. During highschool I supervised the younger years throughout their sports day and PE lessons therefore because of this I have been trained in a brief (not official) health and safety programme. I studied an extra lesson after school which involved learning about childcare and the importance of safety etc. It was called PSD (personal and social development) and I believe that it was a big contribution to my knowledge and capablitiy of looking after young children.
