Hello, my name is Reighn-beau (pronounced rainbow) however, I prefer the name my friends gave to me - Ellie, and I am 20 years old. I am a very polite, well mannered and reliable young woman seeking to work with children. I love all aspects of care and currently work in a dementia centred retirement home for the elderly. I am very patient and understanding with children, regardless of disability or cognitive development stage.
Currently I am working towards a degree in 'Working with children, young people and families' at the University of Cumbria, Lancaster. Previously I have studied Health and Social care at A Level and Child Development at GCSE (qualifications ranging from A-C).
I have three younger sisters and two younger brothers and so my parents have previously relied on me to help with the responsibilities of child care and house work. I am very passionate about the health and well being of children and believe play is a very important part of childhood. I love to play stimulating games such as building, painting, role play, sport alongside making homework as fun as possible.
I am looking for a family to bond with as I believe this will be a very positive experience for not only myself but for the child/children also. This being said, I will cover for emergency babysitting as I understand life is not always straightforward for parents.
