Although I have never had any formal jobs previously I have completed a number of group work projects and volunteering through my local community centre, in Irish Street. This experience has afforded me the opportunity to work with both young and old people on a number of capacities. Therefore I have gained a number of skills that make me approachable in dealing with members of the public. Including good communication and listening skills, the ability to work as part of a team and on my own initiative, plan, co-ordinate and deliver programmes and work with the needs of the group.
