Hi, I am Kirsty and i'm 17, I am in college and working towards my childcare qualification L3 extended diploma in Coleg Gwent in Newport; I have already completed and achieved year 1. I am kind, caring, friendly and always try to be happy and positive, I love children and enjoy working with them.
I am looking for a babysitting job due to college commitments I will only be able to do 4-10pm on weekdays but on weekends I am usually free anytime.
I enjoy working with children, helping them succeed and achieve milestones, I enjoy playing and helping children take part in different activities e.g. role play, sensory play and free play. I encourage children and support them with everything, I like helping them to strive and pursue in whatever they are doing, my aim is to always help children to be happy and healthy. I will always try my hardest and ensure any responsibilities and duties that are given to me by parents are done at a high standard. I also always try to be kind, caring and friendly and always like to make children happy (that is my aim as a babysitter!) I am reliable and trustworthy and I will always ensure your children are kept safe. I always ensure I am attentive to children's needs and ensure that I help children feel protected, I am also a good listener so I will ensure that I will help your children in the best way possible. I will always try to relate as such as possible to children as well. I will be there for your children and try to get to know them as best as I can so they will trust me.
I finished school in year 11 with 9 GCSE’s all with grades from A*-D grade, gaining a B in English literature and a C in maths. I also have one year of experience of childcare and working in nurseries and schools for 2 days a week through my college course. I am now in my 2nd year of college and am planning to finish this course with an A* or A which earns me enough UCAS points to be awarded a certificate that will gain me entry to university.
I have had lots of experience - I help out with a local Brownies girlguiding (age 7-10) group weekly and I have been doing this for 3 years, I also go on placement every week for my course, I have worked in a private nursery (ages 1-5) and 2 primary schools with reception aged children (ages 4-5) I have experience with all children from ages 1-10 years of age. I love playing games with children especially imaginative games e.g. hide and seek, building dens, fun activities, going for walks and feeding ducks. I also love creative activities like craft, painting, drawing pictures etc. I also have experience in helping children with their phonics, reading, writing and numbers. I will also help primary-secondary aged children with their homework and give them advice.
Occasional babysitting | $6.00 per hour |
I'm still a college student and don't mind how much I am paid, I will accept anything that is around £5.
