Hi!
I'm Roxy and started training for my level three ext. diploma in children's care, learning and development in 2014 qualifying with my license to practice and a grade B certificate from Coleg Gwent City of Newport campus in 2016. Prior to this I completed a BTEC level 2 in child development during my GCSE stage. Throughout college I trained weekly in different nurseries and schools covering ages from babies to infant schoolers and I am currently employed full time in a reputable Cwmbran nursery and have been since February 2016. I am fully DBS checked with a certificate in food hygiene and paediatric first aid. I love to interact with children and create a nurturing environment in my work, making sure they are happy, well looked after and having lots of fun! I am quick thinking and enjoy child and adult led activities and can cater to any child/ parental needs. I am familiar with settling anxious children, and lots of fun games to create happy atmospheres. I am confident in providing all personal care including settling children to sleep.
