Hi, my name is Giada , I am a part-time assistant researcher of archaeology at the University of Oxford.
I want to become a teacher, and I like to spend a lot of time with children.
I have been a babysitter for a long time, since I was 15 (now I am 24). Every summer I spent 3 to 4 months caring at toddlers and children, helping them with their homeworks, drawing and singing with them, teaching them to play the piano, bringing them to the swimming pool, or just taking them to a walk, or to the zoo.
Children like me because they have fun with me, and parents like me because their sons and daughters are always completely safe.
I have a lot of experience with autistic and dyslexic children as well.
My family is a big one, and when I am needed I always attend to the children of my cousins, leaving their house always cleaned.
I have a vaste range of abilities in artworks, from origami to finger-painting, and I know a lot of bedtime stories.
I am a very responsible and clean person who is never late and is hard-working. I already had avery possible child disease (for example, measels and chicken-pox).
I am living in Oxford in my tenant's house, and she has a 10-year-old daughter, and we go along just fine.
Currently I am looking for a part-time job as a sitter or carer, because I work at the University from Monday to Friday, 6 hours a day (I can work at mornings or in the afternoons, I can decide either way).
Occasional babysitting | $7.50 per hour |
Partial / after-school care | $5.00 per hour |
I have a lot of experience with children, but I am asking these prices because English is not my mother tongue, although I have a level C1 certificate, therefore some of the parents might not want me.
