I have experience in babysitting, tutoring and helping out at a monthly children's club- whereby I occasionally lead parachute games or run a crafts table- and can easily connect with a range of children. I'm currently studying Spanish, History and Art in my second year of A-levels at Churston Grammar School. I am flexible and can be on call when needed. I often find the funny side to most situations kids can create, but am level-headed and fair so able to deal well with them. Although I haven't had a long term contract in babysitting, I am still able to commit to a family, or just whenever a parent needs an evening free. I have been frequently babysitting for family-friends with 6 children between the ages of 5-15 for a number of years now, and have also babysat for a family of three- the youngest just 1 when I started with them. I feel comfortable with a variety of ages, as have volunteered at a summer camp in two different teams, the first working with 0-2 year olds, and the other for 10-11.
Occasional babysitting | $6.50 per hour |
It is a reasonable charge, only £1 above minimum wage for my age bracket, and is in line with the value I can prove to be as a babysitter, being able to teach bass, Spanish to an A-level range, and provide support in the areas any family would like it.
