Caitlin, baby sitter in Paisley PA1

Hi there my name is Caitlin and I am 19 years old. I am currently a full time college student, studying Early Education and Childcare. Over the past year I have completed my NC in Early Education and Childcare and have gained my full award with progression onto HNC Childhood Practice in September 2016.

I have experience in caring for children of all ages. This experience has been built over years of babysitting for family or friends, and through my year of workplace experience within a nursery which I carried out throughout my college course.

I have a passion for working with children and find it extremely rewarding and enjoyable. I believe it is essential to form positive relationships with the children you work with, getting to know each as an individual, discovering their interests in order to plan fun activities and games in which you can introduce and carry out with them.

Throughout my year within my nursery placement I worked in the 2-3 years room and the 3-5 years room. In both rooms I assisted with the care and provision of the children as well as planned and carried out different activities each week to fit in with the children's current topics and covered many aspects over the Curriculum for Excellence. This in turn has given me experience in caring for a variety of age groups, as well as the ability to plan suitable experiences and games for the children under my care which are not only enjoyable, but stimulating and educational learning experiences.
