Ash, baby sitter in Plymouth PL4

Hi, my name is Ash, I am 18 years old and I am in college studying level 3 media. I moved to Plymouth last year for college and to experience independent living. I spent this summer working at Tiverton Adventure Playground, which specialises in working with children and encouraging them to play and experience natural/outdoors activities that they may not usually do. I really enjoyed working there and hope to do it again. I spent a year volunteering in a primary school, in which I gained knowledge on how to assist children with there work such as, reading and writing but also, higher levels of education in which the work was more advanced, therefore preparing some to go into high school. It was really rewarding to see the children succeed and feel proud of themselves. I have volunteered in a youth center for a year also, working with high school ages. It was fun to work at the center as there were lots of interesting people and it was really nice to watch them grow and mature into young adults over the year. Working at the youth center I also got the opportunity to go to Italy on a snowboarding instructor course and I passed my level 1 with a distinction. I find working with children really rewarding and jump at opportunities to gain more experience working with them. I am happy to help around the house; cleaning, cooking etc. I live independently so I am use to housekeeping, but I also had a job as a cleaner a couple of years ago.
