My name is Safia and I am currently studying in my first year at Plymouth University and am hoping to become a nurse.
I am 19 years old and have been babysitting for friends and family members since I was 12 years old. I also have 2 weeks of professional work experience in a pre-school and primary school.
I am friendly, patient, playful yet firm when needs be and I find that children respond to me positively.
I am extremely trustworthy and will fully comply with any rules laid out. I am also very competent when it comes to following structure and/or routines as I believe this is key in ensuring everything is kept under control.
My experience has mainly been with babies and children under the age of 6 however I have taken care of older children as well and believe I have the skills to adapt to the needs of the children.
I also have experience with taking care of children with mild learning disabilities and behavioural disorders.
